By downloading, installing, or using BrickSide, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to these terms, you must not use the app. We reserve the right to update these terms at any time, and your continued use constitutes acceptance of any modifications.
BrickSide is a mobile application for LEGO® enthusiasts to catalog their collections, discover alternate builds (MOCs - My Own Creations), scan barcodes to quickly add sets, track minifigure rarity, and explore what new builds they can make from sets they already own. The app provides both free and premium subscription tiers.
You must provide accurate and complete information when creating an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. Each person is limited to one account. You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that are inactive for extended periods.
BrickSide offers free and premium tiers. Premium features require a paid subscription at the following rates: - Monthly: $5.99/month - Yearly: $59.99/year (includes 7-day free trial) Payment will be charged to your Apple ID or Google Play account at confirmation of purchase. Subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period. Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period. You can manage and cancel your subscription through your Apple App Store or Google Play Store account settings. Refunds are handled by Apple or Google per their respective refund policies. No partial refunds are provided for unused portions of a subscription period. Free tier limitations include a daily discovery limit, a cap on saved MOCs, and limited alternate builds per scan. These limits are subject to change.
You retain ownership of your collection data and any content you create within BrickSide. By using the app, you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use anonymized, aggregated data for improving recommendations and app functionality. You must not upload content that is offensive, illegal, infringing, or inappropriate.
BrickSide and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by BrickSide and are protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. LEGO® is a trademark of the LEGO Group of companies, which does not sponsor, authorize, or endorse this app. All LEGO® set data, images, and related content are the property of the LEGO Group. MOC (alternate build) content belongs to their respective creators on Rebrickable and is displayed with attribution. MOC images are sourced from Rebrickable and remain the property of their original creators. Minifigure data and set catalog information is sourced from Rebrickable's public database.
You agree not to: - Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the app - Use automated tools, bots, or scrapers to extract data - Impersonate other users or entities - Use the app for any illegal or unauthorized purpose - Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems or other users' accounts - Redistribute, sublicense, or resell access to the app - Circumvent or disable any security or access control features - Use the app to promote counterfeit or clone LEGO® products
BrickSide is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the app will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components. Set data, MOC information, minifigure details, and barcode lookups are provided for informational purposes and may contain inaccuracies. We make no guarantees about the completeness or accuracy of third-party data.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, BrickSide and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of data, loss of profits, or service interruptions, arising from your use of the app. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the service in the 12 months preceding the claim.
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless BrickSide, its operators, and affiliates from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including reasonable attorney fees) arising from your use of the app, violation of these terms, or infringement of any third-party rights.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms of Service, at our sole discretion and without prior notice. Upon termination, your right to use the app will immediately cease and we may delete your data. You may delete your account at any time through the app's Settings screen. Termination does not entitle you to a refund of any subscription fees already paid.
Any disputes arising from or relating to these Terms of Service or your use of BrickSide shall first be attempted to be resolved through good-faith negotiation. If a dispute cannot be resolved through negotiation within 30 days, either party may pursue resolution through binding arbitration or in a court of competent jurisdiction.
These Terms of Service shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States, without regard to conflict of law principles. You agree to submit to the personal jurisdiction of the courts located within the United States for the resolution of any disputes.
If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid, that provision shall be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary so that these Terms shall otherwise remain in full force and effect.
We may modify these terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated terms within the app. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects the most recent revision. Your continued use of BrickSide after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the modified terms.
